It was a festive evening as alumni and fellow members shared their special moments and fondest memories of the dates when they attended Wolfson College, University of Cambridge. The launch cocktail also served as an essential social gathering for Wolfson members to catch up with old and new friends and exchange information in order to keep in touch with one another.
The inaugural launch unveiled the founding of a new organization to be used as a platform for life-long learning and sharing among Wolfson, Cambridge graduates and community, creating a better communications network between the College and the Greater China community.

Over 250 alumni and distinguished guests turned out for a special evening on April 6
in support of the Cambridge 800th Anniversary Campaign Hong Kong Launch. The
evening's special events included a welcome address by Sir David K P Li, Chairman of
the Hong Kong Campaign Planning Committee and Chairman of The Friends of
Cambridge University in Hong Kong as well as speeches from Professor Alison Richard,
Vice-Chancellor of Cambridge University, Dr the Honorable Donald Tsang, Chief
Executive of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, Sir David Walker,
Co-Chairman of the Cambridge 800th Anniversary Campaign Board, and Minister Mentor
Lee Kuan Yew, from the Prime Minister's Office of Singapore. Alumni and guests were
also treated to special performances by Collegium Regale throughout the evening.
