Mission Statement
The Friends of Wolfson College (HK) Ltd. is established to serve the interests of the Wolfson College community in Hong Kong and Greater China area. The goal of this organization is to connect Wolfson College alumni, staff, friends and family, and get them involved in the future development of Wolfson College. It provides both a means of networking and self-improvement for the members. Activities and projects will be organized to allow meaningful exchanges and interaction that benefit members as well as society.
In order to give back to the community, Friends of Wolfson College (HK) aims at establishing a scholarship fund to give talented Hong Kong students the opportunity to study at Wolfson College, Cambridge. This provides students with the opportunity to receive a quality education from one of the top institutions in the world, an opportunity that might otherwise be unavailable to them. Furthermore, helping bright young students receive a superior education will improve society as a whole, enhancing the community with their education.
The organization will promote Wolfson College to the general public as well as to various business circles. This will advance the awareness of Wolfson College and allow the college to become an option for the people in Hong Kong who want to pursue various levels of advanced education. |
